Vision

A vision of our field

We, the Department of Nursing Administration and Advanced Clinical Nursing, aim to support the health of all people in an ever-changing society. We strive to maximize the potential of nursing by focusing on the quality and policy evaluation of medical and nursing care, as well as creating a better healthcare system and environment. This includes providing support to nurses in the field, both as individuals and as part of a broader organizational and societal framework.

As medical technology advances and the environment surrounding patients diversifies, the support needed by those receiving nursing care, as well as the support required by the nursing profession, are also evolving. We continuously explore the best approaches to capture these changes and respond to the needs of the field through research.

We define our discipline as “the exploration of ways to more effectively deliver the power of nursing to people and utilize it in society,” and “the pursuit of applying nursing perspectives and values to organizational activities.”

Our commitment is to identify the mechanisms and methods that will maximize the potential of individuals and organizations to bring well-being to recipients of nursing care, nurses, other healthcare professionals, organizations, and society as a whole—both now and in the future. Our research aims to provide practical knowledge that not only enhances the quality of nursing care but also improves societal health. We employ a variety of approaches, including qualitative and quantitative research, to unravel complex phenomena and continuously integrate new research methods into our studies.
